November 11,2006 -- Scouting for Food - Bag Collection from neighborhoods

November 11th -- Scouting for Food, meet at the JCC parking lot at 10AM in Class A Uniform Required (not class B). This is where we collect all the food and take it to our assigned drop off point.

November 12th -- Den Meetings, check with your Den Leader for details.

November 17,18,19 -- This is for Tigers and their families only. Tiger Growl Campout, Must preregister for campout. Check with your Den Leader about food.

December 8,9,10 -- Cub Scout Pack and Boy Scout Troop 641 joint annual campout at Camp La-No-Che. Click on this link to preregister. I need to know who is coming. This campout is for all scouts of Pack 641 and their families.

January 7th -- Pinewood Derby Workshop, Class B uniform. The workshop will be held at Mr. Bickwid's home at 249 Lancer Oak Drive, Apopka FL 32712. We will start at 1:30PM. This workshop is desinged to completely construct your son's Pinewood Derby Car.

January 21st at 1:30 PM -- Pack Celebration/Pinewood Derby Race will be held at VFW Hall on Edgewater Drive (between Lee Rd. and Fairbanks). Class A Uniform required. We will weigh and inspect each car to insure it meets Pinewood Derby rules.

$$No cost to race$$

January 26 at 7:30 PM -- Scout Shabbat at Ohev Shalom. This is a Friday night service. We ask that scouts attend. We will be part of the service. Class A Uniform Required. More details to come.

February 4th -- Den Meetings, Check with your Den Leader for details.

February 24th -- Our Annual Blue & Gold Banquet. The banquet will be held at the VFW Hall at 5:30PM. Class A Uniform Required. More details to follow.

March 4th -- Fort Gatlin District Pinewood Derby Race will be held at Orlando Fashion Square Mall. Class A Uniform required. We are part of Fort Gatlin District. This is the largest district in our council. This is open to all scouts that love Pinewood Derby. Must preregister at council office. The cost to race is $5.00 per scout.

April 29th – Pack Celebration (pack meeting) will be held at Ohev Shalom located at 5015 Goddard Avenue, Orlando FL 32804. We will start at 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM. Class A Uniform is required. Please come and welcome our new scouts.

May 5th – Family Fest will be located at Central Park (Park Ave) in Winter Park. Our booth craft will be making pencil people. Every scout will be assigned a time slot to work. Class A Uniform is required. Family Fest is a community day where every scout unit in our district has a booth present.

May 18th & 19th – Pack Campout at Turkey Lake Park. This campout is for the whole family. Cost is $15 per adult and $10 per child. Cost covers camping fee and food. Turkey Lake Park will charge $4 at the gate per car. Deadline for signing up is April 27th.
